Camp KC Receives $1,000 grant from iQ Credit Union

Portland, OR | December 13, 2019 - CAP is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a $1,000 grant from the iQ Credit Union to support Camp KC!

The award will help support Camp Activities this holiday season, including the annual toy drive and holiday party at the Hi-Lo Hotel. Kevin Cook, Director of Camp KC, was overjoyed to receive this gift at iQ Credit Union Vancouver office. “Thank you [iQ Credit Union] and your employees for your generous donation to Camp KC! Our campers, families and volunteers greatly appreciate it!”

Camp KC (Kids Connection!) is a fun and safe camp experience that includes swimming, arts & crafts, dance classes, nature hikes, challenge courses, and many other creative opportunities for kids ages 5 – 15 who are living with and/or affected by HIV/AIDS. Camp KC is a free one-week camp at the Oregon Coast that is supported by donations, grants, and almost 50 volun- teers. A program of Cascade AIDS Project, Camp KC is a great opportunity for kids to spend a full week together, making new memories and building trusting and supportive relationships.
