Begin Your Legacy With CAP
CAP is proud to partner with FreeWill to help empower you with the tools you need to get started on your plans and legacy.
FreeWill is a free planned giving tool that guides you through the process of creating your will or trust. It’s easy to use, accessible online, and can be completed in 20 minutes. You can use FreeWill on its own, or use it to document your wishes before finalizing your plans with an attorney.
Share Your Plans
Have you already included a gift to CAP in your will or trust? Please, let us know! Your lasting support of CAP is greatly appreciated, and we would love to thank you for your generosity. We would also like to include you in the CAP Legacy Society to keep you informed on the continued impact of your giving.
Non-Probate Assets
Do you have an IRA, 401(k), life-insurance policy, or any other assets not included in your will? If so, these are called non-probate assets and you must plan your beneficiaries for them separately. Use the link below to make your plans and designate us as a beneficiary of one or more of these assets.

If you already have a will, your attorney can assist in amending the will or adding a codicil to make the gift. Your attorney is likely to ask for the formal name of the organization and to determine the tax-deductibility of gifts to the organization. Here is some sample language you can provide the attorney:
I give to Cascade AIDS Project, an Oregon nonprofit corporation (Tax ID #93-0903383) recognized as exempt from tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, with its principal offices located at 520 NW Davis Street, Suite 215, Portland, Oregon, [all (or ___%) of my residuary estate} or {the sum of $______} to be used for its general purposes.
