Rose City Softball Association Knocks Clothing Drive out of the Park!

Earlier this summer, our rockstar volunteers ran a collaborative clothing drive with Rose City Softball Association, benefitting Tod’s Corner and Esther’s Pantry.

The Rose City Softball Association (RCSA) is Oregon’s largest LGBTQ+ sports organization. They welcome “all adult slow-pitch softball players, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.” RCSA has both an open and women’s division, and are committed to offering a safe space for all LGBTQ+athletes.

At a recent game, they collected clothing and personal hygiene items for Tod’s Corner and Esther’s Pantry—and it was a rousing success!

We tallied up the final numbers, and we’re thrilled to share that the drive collected . . .

  • 736 shirts and sweatshirts

  • 344 pairs of pants

  • 262 jackets, shoes, and other garments along

  • Plus, many personal hygiene items!

These donations will make a big difference for our community members who utilize Esther’s Pantry and Tod’s Corner.

We are very thankful to the RSCA for getting the word out to their teams, and to their amazing community for showing up for ours!
