Bat N’ Rouge Is Happening This Sunday!

Portland, OR | July 28, 2016 - The fourth annual “Bat ‘n Rouge” softball tournament will take place 11 AM to 4 PM on July 31stat Erv Lind Stadium in Normandale Park. The family-friendly tournament—featuring drag queens, music, and general hilarity—will raise funds to help those impacted by HIV/AIDS.

The ceremonial first pitch will be thrown by Wayne Miya, the former Executive Director of Our House of Portland.  Miya has been a long-term advocate and champion for people living with or affected by HIV in our community. The event will be hosted by Portland drag legends Carla Rossi and Bolivia Carmichaels. Music will be provided by The Portland Pride band.

A beer garden and concession stand will be open all day during the game.  Bat ‘n Rouge has a $5 suggested donation (beer garden is $20 and available for those 21+ only).

Erv Lind Stadium in Normandale Park is located at 5700 NE Halsey Street in Portland, Oregon.
