CAP Has A New Website (and It’s All About You!)
Portland, OR | June 23, 2015
You told us that our website wasn’t serving you as well as it could. We heard you and decided to do something about it.
The main goals of our website redesign were to simplify, improve, and update. We sought to make our site enjoyable to visit as well as helpful for those looking for specific information. We believe it is a truer reflection of who CAP is as an agency and the diverse communities we serve.
So how do these objectives show up on the new CAP website?
Simplify:
More Intuitive Navigation
Our new information architecture appeals to both those already familiar with CAP and those learning about us for the first time. No matter what you’re looking for, you’ll be able to find it in a snap. Check out the Homepage to see our new navigation.Shorter Page Content
We know your time is valuable, so we made sure to only include the most important and useful information on our new site.
Improve:
More Contact Forms
Every page features a contact form, ensuring you can reach out to us wherever you may be on the new site. You’ll never have to search for how to talk to us again.More Intuitive Page Grouping
We’ve put similar content together to make it easier for you to decide what you’d like to do on the site. Check out our Take Action page to see how we’ve grouped pages.
Update:
Only the Latest Information
We’ve made sure each page features only relevant, helpful, and up-to-date content. Check out our About HIV page for new information.More Community-Centric Content
One of the best things about CAP is all of our support groups and community-building events. Check out our new Calendar page for upcoming events. The New CAP Blog
From here on out you’ll be able to keep up with everything CAP through our blog posts. This helps us get information to you faster and allows comments and feedback so that you can continue telling us how we can best serve you.
CAP has stood on the front lines in the fight against HIV for 30 years.
We’ll continue to do just that until we no longer need to. We promise to serve you as best we can, and to always listen to what you are telling us.
A website may seem like a small part of this mission, but it is our public face and we want you to see yourself in it. We invite you to click around our new site and let us know what you think.
As always, thank you for continuing to care about CAP and our community. We’re lucky to have you on our side.
Sincerely,
Tyler TerMeer, Executive Director
